Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Inside Sales team. In this role, you will prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs). Success in this position requires strong knowledge of machine shop and fabrication processes, along with familiarity with nuclear industry standards.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer RFQs and develop comprehensive cost estimates.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to evaluate manufacturing feasibility, methods, and timelines.Ensure compliance with nuclear quality standards and industry requirements.

Essential Skills

Machine shop or fabrication shop estimating experienceStrong understanding of nuclear manufacturing standardsExceptional analytical skills and attention to detail

Additional Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in build shops, quoting, or project biddingProficiency in estimation, RFQs, bidding, cost analysis, and project coordinationStrong communication skills for vendor interaction and supporting Sales EngineersExperience with estimating software and mechanical pricing tools

This is a Permanent position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Health. PTO, Holidays, bonus at end of year

This is a fully onsite position in Chattanooga,TN.
