Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced. Estimator to join our team. This role is critical in evaluating project requirements, preparing competitive bids, and collaborating with internal teams and customers. The Estimator will focus on oversized, specialized heavy haul projects—such as bridge girders and crane deliveries—and ensure that all estimates align with project schedules and budgets.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze project requirements and develop accurate, competitive estimates.Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and customers to ensure alignment and clarity.Prepare detailed plans and bid quotes for oversized heavy haul jobs.Coordinate project timelines and budgets to ensure successful execution.Research permitting requirements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Required QualificationsProven experience in estimating, preferably in heavy haul trucking or specialized freight.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with permitting processes and bidding procedures.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Preferred QualificationsExperience with federal and state projects (e.g., bridge components, cranes, pipes).Knowledge of ODOT regulations and procedures.Work Environment & BenefitsOn-site roleat our Tacoma headquarters, working with a close-knit team of 45 professionals.Supportive company culturethat values pride in work and employee accomplishment.Comprehensive benefits package, including:1 week paid vacation in the first year; 2 weeks starting in the second year40 hours of sick time annually3% matching 401(k) after 6 months100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees80% employer-paid medical coverage for dependents; 100% dental and vision$50,000 Life/AD&D insurance coveragePay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
1 week of paid vacation in the first year, second year increases to 2 weeks
