Escrow Manager
Responsibilities

Manage closing between Lender, Title Companies, and Buyer.Manage the tracking and processing of all escrows (i.e., applications, approvals, schedule walk-throughs with Buyers) to ensure timely closings.Audit and process Purchase Agreements and Exhibits. Identify and correct errors.Distribute Agreements and Exhibits to Sales, Lender, Buyer and Title Company.Under limited supervision, review, identify, correct (if needed), and distribute all respective contracts/amendments.  Communicate with respective sales staff on incorrect errors. Educate sales staff on proper contract completion. Research appraisal challenges and provide problem resolution. Partner with MTH Manager on deals.Help train Sales Team on systems (Salesforce). Educate Sales Team with what is involved in sales contracts. Participate in Divisional Sales meetings and provide updates with regards to what is not coming in and provides guidance/direction to solve.Prepare, review, and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually required reports.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, College courses in business, real estate or accounting; Five (5) years of experience working with a home builder in the escrow or sales departments and/or title company and experience working with buyers, lenders, and buildersStrong understanding of the escrow process and documentation, including purchase documents, options selections, loan requirements and closing proceduresGood computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, ExcelExperience with JD Edwards, Salesforce.com, and Excel preferredStrong Oral/Written communication skillsExcellent Interpersonal skills and customer service skills with the ability to handle the stress of working with multiple parties to ensure timely closingsAbility to influence others and overcome objections
