We are currently seeking a ERP Senior Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN). An SAP BW developer designs, develops, and implements SAP Business Warehouse (BW) solutions to meet business reporting and analytics needs. This role involves data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization within the SAP BW environment. They collaborate with business users to gather requirements, design data structures, and ensure the efficient loading, transformation, and delivery of data for reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities: Data Modeling: Designing and developing InfoObjects, InfoCubes, DataStore Objects (DSOs), and other BW objects to structure data for reporting. ETL Processes: Building and maintaining Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to extract data from SAP and non-SAP sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it into the BW system. Data Extraction: Creating and managing DataSources, including standard and generic extractors, to fetch data from source systems. Reporting: Developing complex queries using BEx Query Designer or other reporting tools for business users. Performance Optimization: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in data loads, queries, and reporting processes. System Administration: Supporting the overall SAP BW system, including troubleshooting issues, applying transports, and managing security. Collaboration: Working closely with business analysts, data modelers, and other IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation for BW objects, ETL processes, and reporting solutions. Essential Skills: SAP BW: Strong knowledge of SAP BW concepts, including data modeling, ETL, reporting, and administration. ABAP: Experience with ABAP programming for developing custom extractors, transformations, and user exits. Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing principles, including dimensional modeling and ETL methodologies.
