The Instrument Data Management (IDM) organization is responsible for providing data content and services for MSCI tools that fuels investment decisions. Our services focus on working with the multiple business units on the production and development of input data used for product generation. In addition, we provide support to our sales team, consultants and client relations teams with client inquiries on content.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesThe Equity Instrument Data Intern will support the daily operation, ensuring the highest level of quality for a diverse data set of attributes. Interns are also expected to contribute to projects supporting IDM initiatives to re-build and enhance many of the core data content.

Quality assurance of equity market and reference dataMonitor workflow processes and resolve issues with urgency as they ariseIdentify, investigate and resolve data discrepancies and ensure they do not recurVariance analysis of data attributes with various vendor sourcesResearch corporate events and assets as it pertains to MSCI methodologyUpdate and conduct extensive quality assurance to our financial databaseWork in partnership with local and global teams to enhance and improve client experienceSupport project initiatives to enhance and automate operational processes, including the use of AI tools and technologiesYour skills and experience that will help you excelSkills:
