Equity & Deferred Comp Strategy & Innovation Vice President

Seeking a Vice President (VP) in Equity & Deferred Comp Strategy! Utilize technology to drive business strategy, lead initiatives, and enhance equity plans.
 

As the Vice President of Executive Compensation Strategy & Innovation within the Executive Comp Team, you will collaborate with the Head of Exec Comp Plan Strategy & Design to identify business initiatives that require technology solutions. You will drive these efforts working closely with Product, HR Global Ops, and Technology teams to provide requirements and process flows, review system designs, and collaborate with QA to identify test cases and perform User Acceptance Testing. Additionally, you will oversee the conversion efforts for the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), ensuring seamless integration and an exceptional and engaging employee experience.

Job responsibilities

Collaborate with the Head of Exec Comp Plan Strategy & Design to identify business initiatives requiring technology solutions.Drive strategic technology initiatives to enhance equity compensation plans, ensuring alignment with business goals.Partner with Product, HR Global Operations, and Technology teams to provide requirements and process flows, review system designs, identify test cases, and perform User Acceptance Testing.Manage complex calculations for share retention requirements, implementing a maker and checker process to ensure accuracy.Oversee the conversion efforts for the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), ensuring seamless integration and functionality.Utilize Excel to manage and manipulate data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of dataReconcile data between systems, identifying and resolving discrepancies efficientlyTest functionality of the stock plan system to ensure a smooth transitionDocument and retain new processes and controls developed during project implementationsPrepare presentations and materials for communications and meetings with various stakeholders and levels of managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address any issues that may arise while maintaining detailed documentation of processes and outcomes for ongoing projects.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Strong knowledge of executive compensation plan products, including Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPP).Ability to translate executive compensation business requirements into detailed documentation for Product and Technology teams to develop effective solutions. Ability to reconcile large sets of data using various tools including Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of data with strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to develop and execute comprehensive test cases for process validation while also proficient in auditing, testing and validating dataExperience crafting clear and concise communications in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to various stakeholdersAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsTeam player mindset, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environmentProven technical background with the ability to lead strategic technology initiatives with familiarity with relevant tools and technologies in data management and quality assuranceAnalytical mindset to identify issues and propose effective solutions and strategic thinking to align technology initiatives with business goalsFlexible approach to handle evolving project requirements and priorities and ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

Experience in leading technology-driven strategic initiatives within executive compensation or related fields.Familiarity with deferred compensation plansStrong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively utilize PowerPoint to communicate complex ideas and strategic initiatives to various audiencesExperience in using generative AI to drive innovation and enhance processes within the executive compensation space
