**Job Title: Equipment Operator Helper** **Job Description** As an Equipment Operator Helper, you will support heavy equipment operators, particularly those working with excavators. Your role will involve performing tasks that enhance the efficiency and safety of the work environment, including clearing debris, preparing materials, and setting up the work area before and during excavation. You may also be required to enter trenches and perform hand digging as necessary. **The first project is at the Coca-Cola warehouse near Frost Bank Center for the expansion project. The company has YEARS worth of work and once that project ends will get you onto another project of theirs in SA.** **Responsibilities** + Assist heavy equipment operators with daily tasks. + Clear debris and prepare materials for excavation. + Set up the work area to ensure safety and efficiency. + Enter trenches and perform hand digging when needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience with excavators and other heavy machinery. + Machine operation skills. + Understanding of construction practices, flagging, and spotting **Work Environment** You will work 12 hours per day outdoors on active construction sites, engaging in hands-on tasks that are integral to the success of excavation operations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
