Job Title: Equipment Operator
Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Equipment Operators for both day and night shifts. The role involves operating various equipment, including frontend loaders with buckets, 12k forklifts or smaller with rotators, bobcats, and skid steers. You will be expected to adhere to all safety regulations and perform pre-shift and end-of-shift inspections while ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.

ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, forklifts, skid steers, and loaders.Perform routine maintenance on loaders, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.Complete inspection reports prior to using equipment.Safely operate machinery under the direction of the shift supervisor or production manager.Load trucks, pile scrap material, and load/unload barges and rail cars.Conduct end-of-shift clean-up and equipment inspection.Regularly clean equipment to preserve its quality and functionality.Commit to the overall safety of the work environment.Sweep and shovel residual waste from the process.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in heavy equipment operation.Minimum of 12 months related experience and/or training.High school diploma or GED.Valid driver's license.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with construction equipment like dozers, backhoes, and front-end loaders.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work areas are organized yet dirty, with the position requiring both day and night shifts. The work environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with duties performed outside.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morrisville, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
