**🚧 Job Opening: Equipment Operator** **Location:** Council Bluffs, Iowa **Job Type:** Permanent, Full-Time **About the Role** We’re seeking a skilled and reliable **Equipment Operator** with a Class B CDL to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role involves operating specialized trucks, performing maintenance, and supporting construction and traffic control operations. If you’re ready to work hard, travel occasionally, and be part of a fast-paced crew, we want to hear from you. **🛠️ Responsibilities** + Operate Class B CDL vehicles: Water Tank Truck, Poly Paint Truck, Grinder Truck + Perform truck maintenance in the shop and on-site + Assist with construction, road crew, signage, and traffic control tasks + Assemble, load, and unload barricades and materials + Drive trucks and operate heavy equipment + Perform labor-intensive tasks beyond driving + Use hand tools: wrenches, pliers, impact drills + Adapt to changing duties and schedules on short notice + Work flexible hours, including 12–16 hour shifts (day/night) + Travel as needed, including overnight hotel stays **✅ Requirements** + Valid Class B CDL license (must be insurable) + Experience operating and maintaining grinder, paint, and water trucks + Familiarity with construction labor and general handyman skills + Willingness to work long shifts and night hours + Ability to travel and stay overnight when required + Tanker endorsement and heavy equipment experience preferred **🎯 Why Join Us?** We offer a competitive benefits package and a supportive work environment: + Retirement plan + Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + Flexible spending account + Paid time off and six paid holidays + Employee assistance program **🌍 Work Environment** + Active commercial construction sites + Fast-paced, physically demanding work + Shifts may begin as early as 5:00 AM and end as late as 8:00 PM **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $54000.00/yr.
