Our client, a leader in the recycling industry, is seeking an **Equipment Operator** to join their team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be part of a dedicated workforce supporting essential operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Equipment Operator
**Location:** Alexandria, MN
**Pay Range:** $21+/depending on experience
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate various heavy machinery, including forklift, payloader, hook truck, and excavator in a recycling center.
+ Ensure safety protocols are followed while performing equipment operations.
+ Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
+ Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage recycling operations.
+ Assist in training new operators on equipment usage and safety practices.
**What's Needed?**
+ Proven experience operating forklifts, payloaders, hook trucks, and excavators.
+ Ability to work the night shift, Sunday through Thursday from 11 PM to 8:30 AM.
+ Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in heavy machinery operation.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
+ Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
