We're looking for an Equipment Operations Engineer with expert experience installing, commissioning and troubleshooting custom industrial equipment in a high tech, high speed manufacturing environment. : This position will lead production maintenance operations to ensure maximum equipment reliability, availability, and performance. Drive maintenance excellence through strategic planning, predictive/preventive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key job responsibilities • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to optimize equipment reliability and minimize production downtime • Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implementing sustainable solutions • Establish and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs. • Drive root cause analysis programs and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures • Optimize spare parts inventory management and maintenance resource allocation • Develop and track maintenance KPIs, including MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) • Create and manage maintenance budgets, including labor, parts, and contractor costs • Partner with Production teams to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules • Lead maintenance improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintenance procedures About the team The Kuiper machine shop provides development and production machining capabilities supporting satellite manufacturing. These operations occur in our Redmond facilities. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,800/year in our highest geographic market.
