Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated traveling equipment maintenance mechanic to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment used in the concrete industry, including trailers and trucks. While DOT certification is preferred, it is not mandatory. The work includes tasks such as trailer lights and wiring, welding, oil changes, tire repair, and repairs on mini excavators, skid loaders, power trowels, and dump trucks. Most projects are related to Highway Heavy concrete work, focusing on minor concrete paving projects, curb and gutter, and ADA improvements. The mechanic will act as the prime contractor and coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Operations teams to plan and manage daily labor, materials, and equipment needs.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair a variety of concrete industry equipment.Perform maintenance on trailers and trucks, including electrical and welding work.Conduct oil changes and tire repairs.Repair and maintain mini excavators, skid loaders, power trowels, and dump trucks.Coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Operations teams.Plan and manage daily labor, materials, and equipment needs.Essential SkillsExperience in construction, repair, and equipment maintenance.Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.Electrical wiring and lighting expertise.Proficiency in preventive maintenance and heavy equipment repair.Welding skills.Ability to travel and maintain a clean driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with field maintenance.Trailer repair knowledge.Capability to work hands-on in the field.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
Union company, but this is a non-union job.
