Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Description:

We are a large commercial construction company looking to add motived, skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanics to add to our team. This positions requires employees to complete a wide variety of diesel engine troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls. You will also be perfoming mechanical duties on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment such as Semi-Trucks, Excavators, Loaders, Dozers, and many other heavy construction machinery.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on a variety of Diesel Trucks and Construction Equipment

• Repair and troubleshoot engines such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, MTU

• Diagnose, repair, adjust and modify all heavy duty components

• Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department and customers

• Meet requirements for certifications

• Administrative duties as related to position

Hours:

Monday - Friday : 8am-5pm

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Preferably 3-5 years mechanic experience minimum or vocational schooling in a similar field completed.Must be able to provide your own basic tools.Clean driving record from previous 7 years.CDL is a huge plus but not required.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr.
