Our client, a leader in innovative technology solutions, is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Tech 2 to join their team. As an Equipment Maintenance Tech 2, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting the Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Equipment Maintenance Tech 2
**Location:** Boise, ID
**Pay Range:** $36.54 hourly
**Shift:** Night Shift - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and alternate Saturday, 12-hour shifts
**What's the Job?**
+ Monitor, sustain, and improve equipment performance in assigned areas
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using systematic methods
+ Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations on tools and machinery
+ Maintain accurate records of equipment history and maintenance activities
+ Assist with installation, modification, and conversion of equipment as needed
**What's Needed?**
+ Preferred Associates Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform extensive walking in lab environments
+ Strong adherence to procedures and standard operating protocols
+ Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
+ Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
