Our client, a leader in the Industrial sector, is seeking an Equipment Associate to join their team. As an Equipment Associate, you will be part of the operations supporting various branch personnel. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service focus, effective communication skills, and strong teamwork abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Equipment Associate
**Location:** Ashland, VA
**Pay Range:** $20 - $22/hr (Contingent on Experience)
**What's the Job?**
+ Provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff, and other branch personnel engaged in meeting customer's needs.
+ Assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental.
+ Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
+ Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries about equipment.
+ Load and unload rental equipment.
+ Forklift experience required.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma and valid driver's license required.
+ Good organizational skills.
+ 2+ years experience with Forklift Operation. Forklift Certification preferred.
+ Prior background and knowledge with Diesel mechanics a plus.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
