CTG is seeking Epic Production Support Analysts to join our team. The Epic Production Support Analyst team provides day‑to‑day operational support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance for Epic ClinDoc and Epic Orders. These analysts ensure stable, efficient, and accurate clinical workflows across inpatient units and provider teams. The roles focus on resolving production issues, optimizing documentation and ordering workflows, and partnering with clinical stakeholders to maintain a high‑quality electronic health record environment. Two positions will specialize in ClinDoc, supporting inpatient clinical documentation tools. One position will specialize in Orders, supporting provider ordering workflows, order sets, and clinical decision support. Key Responsibilities General Responsibilities (All Analysts) Provide tier‑2/3 production support for assigned Epic modules, resolving incidents, break/fix issues, and service requests. Monitor system performance, identify recurring issues, and implement sustainable solutions. Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to understand workflow needs and translate them into system improvements. Participate in on‑call rotation or after‑hours support as needed. Assist with upgrade testing, release notes review, and validation of new features. Maintain accurate documentation of build, workflows, and support processes. Follow change control procedures and organizational governance standards. Role‑Specific Responsibilities Epic ClinDoc Analyst (2 positions) Support inpatient clinical documentation tools including flowsheets, SmartForms, SmartTexts, SmartLinks, and documentation templates. Troubleshoot issues related to nursing and provider documentation, charting tools, and workflow routing. Maintain and optimize flowsheet rows, groups, templates, and documentation‑related decision support. Partner with nursing leadership, clinical educators, and inpatient operations to improve documentation efficiency and compliance. Assist with initiatives related to regulatory documentation, quality measures, and clinical standardization. Epic Orders Analyst (1 position) Support provider ordering workflows including order sets, preference lists, order panels, and clinical decision support. Troubleshoot issues related to order entry, routing, order transmittal, and downstream system communication. Maintain and optimize order sets, order composer tools, and decision support rules. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nursing, and ancillary departments to ensure safe and efficient ordering workflows. Support regulatory and safety initiatives related to ordering, medication workflows, and clinical pathways. Qualifications Required Epic certification or accreditation in ClinDoc or Orders, depending on the role (or willingness to obtain within required timeframe). Experience supporting Epic applications in a healthcare or IT environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clinical and operational stakeholders. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
