Epic Analyst

Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, enhancement, and maintenance of application solutions that meet defined business needs.Modify and support moderately complex application programs using detailed specifications and established standards.Help ensure applications are reliable and easy to use by participating in coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.Support systems analysis activities by gathering information, identifying issues, and helping define practical solutions.Apply standard development techniques to deliver consistent, high‑quality results while continuing to build technical depth.Assist with research and fact‑finding to support application improvements and database maintenance efforts.Collaborate with team members to implement updates and resolve routine application issues efficiently.Provide thoughtful input and initial analysis reports for review by senior team members.Offer guidance and day‑to‑day support to junior team members as your skills and confidence grow.Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Epic software support, or a related technical role.Hands‑on experience coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications in a professional environment.Basic understanding of application development concepts, systems analysis, and structured problem solving.Ability to follow defined processes while learning how to select the right techniques with guidance.Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting or working with enterprise applications or databases.Exposure to healthcare, insurance, or other regulated environments.Familiarity with software documentation and reporting practices.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred, not required).Interest in mentoring or informally supporting newer team members.If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
