This position requires practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building infrastructure system to support preventive maintenance, vendor management, and project coordination. Acting as a central liaison between clients, landlords, and service providers, the role combines hands-on problem-solving with strong organizational and communication skills to deliver high-quality facilities management services. **What You’ll Do:** + Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated communications among clients, landlords, and service providers, ensuring adherence to procedures and reporting standards. + Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. + Conduct routine office inspections, diagnose potential issues, and coordinate timely repairs. + Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. + Act as the main point of contact for site power-down events, including milestone tracking, vendor coordination, and change management submissions. + Support vendor management for repair and maintenance (R&M) services across assigned buildings. + Review and allocate work orders, schedule repairs, and maintain communication with end-users until completion. + Validate vendor proposals, work orders, and documentation for accuracy and compliance. + Analyze work order data and prepare performance and progress reports for management. + Support project deliverables in collaboration with project managers, vendors and BMO. + Manage, plan, and oversee daily activities of support team members to ensure effective service delivery. + Resolve conflicting priorities and maintain alignment with business objectives. + Handle administrative tasks such as issuing purchase orders and processing vendor invoices. + Provide on-call support outside regular business hours and occasional weekend coverage. + Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. + Contribute to new processes, standards, and operational plans. + Communicate complex ideas effectively and influence stakeholders at senior levels. + Required to be available for on-call duties outside of regular business hours. + Provide onsite support during weekends as needed. **What You’ll Need:** + High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience, advantage if experience in facilities management. + A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required. + Ability to evaluate and communicates unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Advanced math skills.
