**Job Title: Environmental Field Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for **Environmental Field Technicians** to to join our growing team ASAP! As an Environmental Field Technician, you will respond to environmental emergencies within a 24-hour period, performing both technical field and office work. You will operate various mechanical equipment such as Vac Trucks, Super Duster, forklifts, pallet jacks, lift gates, trucks, trailers, and others as necessary. Your duties will include conducting clean-up and decontamination procedures, maintaining inventory lists, and completing various reports and Field Dailies. You should possess a basic understanding of spill response terminology and principles, as well as knowledge of the proper storage, treatment, and disposal of hazardous materials. The role requires effective communication with the public, clients, and team members, fielding calls and coordinating with Field Supervisors. You will also perform limited chemical tests, prepare equipment, keep accurate field log books, and engage in manual labor tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, pushing, and pulling. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
