**Job Title: Environmental Technician** **Hours: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM** **Job Description** Join a large nationwide environmental company as an Environmental Technician in our Providence team. You will play a crucial role in managing waste materials, including transporting and sorting drums of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Your responsibilities will include loading and offloading drums onto trucks, ensuring proper labeling and separation, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. **Responsibilities** + Transport drums of waste and dispose of them in a hopper. + Identify and sort drums based on the substances they contain. + Load and offload drums onto trucks safely and efficiently. + Separate hazardous waste from non-hazardous waste and organize them in designated areas within the warehouse. + Maintain warehouse cleanliness through regular sweeping and organizing. **Essential Skills** + Experience in environmental labor for 1 year or more. + Strong attitude towards job success and career building. + Ability to troubleshoot and work in both indoor and outdoor environments. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 40 Hour Hazwoper certification is a plus; certification will be provided. + OSHA 10 certification preferred. + Knowledge in construction, environmental science, and mechanical remediation. **Why Work Here?** Become part of a large company dedicated to growth and offering strong competitive benefits.
