In this role you will oversee all 3 shifts but your primary shift will cover evenings/nights approximately 2p-10:30p with days off that fall during weekdays.
Salary for this role will range from $55,000-$65,000 negotiable based on experience.
The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager oversees the cleanliness, sanitation, and environmental safety of all casino facilities, including gaming floors, restaurants, entertainment venues, back‑of‑house spaces, and public areas. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, maintains a high‑quality guest environment, and leads a large, diverse EVS team in a fast‑paced, 24/7 casino environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Manage daily EVS operations across casino gaming floors, food & beverage outlets, restrooms, retail spaces, and administrative areas.Develop, implement, and maintain cleaning schedules, SOPs, and quality standards to ensure a pristine and safe facility.Monitor the gaming floor to uphold casino‑specific cleanliness expectations, including rapid response to spills, debris, and guest needs.Team Management
Lead, train, and mentor a team of supervisors, leads, and EVS attendants across multiple shifts.Oversee staffing levels, scheduling, task assignments, and performance evaluations.Support employee engagement, training programs, and ongoing skill development.Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state gaming regulations, and all internal policies.Oversee the safe management and storage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.Promote a safety‑first culture, conduct regular inspections, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Sustainability & Environmental Programs
Manage waste reduction, recycling, and sustainability initiatives.Recommend environmentally responsible products, procedures, and technologies.Monitor energy and water conservation strategies in collaboration with Facilities.Budgeting & Procurement
Manage departmental budget including labor, equipment, supplies, and vendor contracts.Evaluate cleaning products, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee equipment maintenance and replacement.Guest Experience
Maintain a consistently clean, polished, and welcoming property environment aligned with brand standards.Respond promptly to guest concerns and collaborate with guest services to resolve issues.Support special events, promotional activities, and entertainment operations with EVS resources.Collaboration
Partner with property leadership to support cross‑departmental needs.Work with regulatory leadership to ensure compliance with casino‑specific standards and audit readiness.Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Facilities Management, Environmental Services, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.3–5 years of EVS leadership experience, preferably in a casino, hotel, resort, or large entertainment venue.Experience managing large teams in a 24/7 operational environment.Skills & Competencies

24/7 casino environment requiring flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to walk extensive areas of the property and stand for prolonged periods.Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 75lbs.
