Job Description
The Environmental Service Worker plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various common areas on client premises. This includes cleaning offices, classrooms, schools, lavatories, halls, and food service areas. The role involves sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing floors, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, and office spaces to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities
Clean offices, classrooms, schools, common areas, lavatories, halls, and food service areas.Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors; vacuum hallways, stairs, and office spaces.Perform hard-surface floor scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing, as well as carpet spotting and extraction using mechanical equipment.Participate in the maintenance of wood floors, including cleaning, screening, stripping, sanding, and refinishing.Clean light fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, and window coverings.Use cleaning chemicals properly and safely per manufacturer standards.Empty trash and garbage containers.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work schedule includes options of Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm or 12pm to 8:30pm. The position is primarily indoors with potential participation in outside activities and events. The work environment can range from moderate to loud noise levels, and the role requires wearing protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment. Expect exposure to various cleaning agents.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $14.00 - $14.00/hr.
