Job Title: Environmental Scientist

Job Description

The Environmental Scientist will be responsible for collecting samples as required by applicable regulations, completing field surveys and reports, assisting with preparing design documents, and overseeing construction activities.

Responsibilities

Collect samples in accordance with applicable regulations.Complete field surveys and reports accurately and timely.Assist in the preparation of design documents.Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance and safety.

Essential Skills

Experience in environmental science.Knowledge of OSHA 30 and OSHA 40 Hazwoper regulations.Proficiency in environmental remediation.Experience in environmental field operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

NYS DEC 4 Hour Erosion and Sediment Control Training certification.Authorization as an Underground Storage Tank Systems Operator.

Work Environment

The position involves working on a team of environmental scientists and technicians supporting projects throughout the five boroughs. The office is located in Brooklyn, NY, and work is conducted five days a week.

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
