The Environmental Inspector will conduct routine inspections of construction sites to evaluate the effectiveness of erosion and sediment control measures, ensuring compliance with NPDES permits, local ordinances, and Pennsylvania environmental regulations. This role involves preparing detailed inspection reports, taking photographs of site conditions, and maintaining records of compliance violations. The Inspector will provide guidance to contractors regarding best management practices to prevent pollution and erosion and report findings to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection or county conservation districts.

When not in the field, the Inspector will be in the office uploading data and performing administrative tasks.
