**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team as a Health and Safety Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. You'll be instrumental in fostering a robust safety culture and ensuring compliance across our state-of-the-art facility. Collaborate with various departments and lead EHS initiatives to drive organizational success.
**Responsibilities**
+ Support EHS Manager: Provide essential support for the building's EHS needs.
+ Implement Programs: Develop and enforce EHS programs to ensure safety and compliance.
+ Enhance Safety Culture: Promote and improve safety practices within the organization.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with different departments to drive EHS efforts.
+ Consultant Oversight: Manage the onsite Senior EHS Consultant.
+ Stakeholder Communication: Communicate EHS program needs and updates effectively.
+ Continuous Improvement: Assess and enhance current EHS practices.
+ Employee Engagement: Engage with employees at all levels on EHS matters.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proven experience in safety, EHS, OSHA regulations, and environmental safety.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 5 years in the EH&S field.

**Work Environment**
+ Reporting: Reports to the Director of Facilities.
+ Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm or 8 am - 4:30 pm.
+ Location: South San Francisco, California.
+ Type: Contract position.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
