**Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Specialist to join our team. The specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental health and safety regulations and a keen interest in promoting a culture of safety within the organization. **Responsibilities** + Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices for compliance with corporate and governmental health and safety standards and regulations. + Design and implement workplace processes and procedures that help protect workers from potentially hazardous work conditions. + Investigate accidents and incidents to identify their causes and determine how they might be prevented in the future. + Conduct training sessions on health and safety practices and regulations. + Develop and implement health and safety plans and programs, including emergency response plans. + Collect and report on environmental data, such as pollution emission measurements, atmospheric monitoring measurements, meteorological and mineralogical information, soil or water samples, or plant or wildlife samples. + Advise organizations on the impact of their activities on the environment and suggest ways to minimize harm or violations. + Apply knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and industrial health and safety laws to ensure safe and healthy working environments. **Essential Skills** + Safety + Environmental health + Health & safety + EHS **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field. + Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment. + Strong understanding of environmental health and safety regulations. + Excellent organizational and communication skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and innovative food tech startup that is revolutionizing the way work is conducted.
