● Oversee day-to-day compliance with EH&S policies and regulations\n● Conduct regular waste rounds to ensure proper storage and disposal of waste materials\n● Procure and manage waste containers, including arranging for regular pickups\n● Support equipment decontamination, spill response, and lab pack activities\n● Ensure proper labeling and signage of waste containers and areas\n● Conduct lab inspections and follow-up on any identified issues\n● Conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for new processes/operations/activities\n● Utilize EHS Management Tool to track and manage EH&S data\n● Evaluate and recommend appropriate PPE for employees\n● Provide regular presentations and updates on EH&S topics to functional groups\n● Consolidate safety metrics and findings for functional groups to identify trends and areas for\nimprovement\n● Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective\nactions\n● Develop EH&S policies, programs and trainings, as needed\n● Develop and implement a chemical safety/high hazard categorization program to ensure proper\nsegregation of chemicals

Additional Skills & Qualifications

\n\t\t\t\t\t

Basic Qualifications:\n● Bachelor's degree in EH&S, Environmental Science, or a related field\n● 5+ years of experience in an EH&S role, with a focus on waste management and chemical safety\n● 40 Hour Hazwoper certification required\n● Strong understanding of EH&S regulations and best practices\n● Excellent communication and presentation skills\n● Experience in conducting incident investigations with root cause analysis\n● Ability to work independently and as part of a team\n● Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr.
