Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) ManagerJob Description

We are seeking two Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Managers to support data center projects across various locations throughout the U.S. The EHS Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and implementing comprehensive safety and environmental compliance programs specifically tailored for data center construction projects. This position involves conducting risk assessments, ensuring adherence to OSHA and other regulatory standards, and developing site-specific safety plans. The EHS Manager will provide ongoing training to staff, conduct regular audits and inspections, and address any safety concerns promptly to maintain a zero-incident environment. Collaboration with project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel is key to ensuring that all operations are performed safely and sustainably while fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and oversee company-wide EHS policies, procedures, and programs tailored to the construction industry.Ensure alignment of EHS initiatives with organizational objectives and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations specific to construction sites.Organize, conduct, and oversee safety training programs for construction workers and staff, educating them on necessary safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards.Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed to address the evolving needs of construction environments.Regularly assess construction site environments, equipment, and practices for compliance and identify potential hazards.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including emergency response plans tailored to construction-related incidents.Investigate and document any workplace accidents, near-misses, or other incidents on construction sites.Collaborate with departments to implement corrective actions and reduce recurrence of safety incidents in construction operations.Stay updated with relevant EHS regulations and industry standards specific to the construction industry.Ensure all company operations and activities are compliant with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.Prepare for, and lead, audits from regulatory agencies.Track, analyze, and report on EHS metrics to monitor performance.Make recommendations to senior management based on analysis and trends.Engage with employees at all levels to promote and develop a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.Collaborate with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, vendors, and industry groups, to ensure construction projects meet all safety and environmental standards.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in an EHS role, with prior managerial experience.Experience in data centers, critical facilities, construction, or industrial environments.Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, ISO, and other relevant safety standards.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and patterns.Proficient in using EHS management software and tools.Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.OSHA 10, OSHA 30, OSHA 510 certifications.Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.Willingness to travel throughout the U.S. for project-based work.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certifications.Work Environment

This position offers an excellent working environment with a strong corporate office located in Mesa, AZ. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
