Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

Job Description

The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for developing and coordinating training programs for new employees. The ideal candidate will have a background in a manufacturing environment. Additional experience in SWPP and HAZWOPER is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate training programs for new employees.Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards.Conduct safety training sessions and workshops.Coordinate with team members to implement safety measures effectively.

Essential Skills

5+ years in a safety management position.Experience in environmental health and safety protocols.Proficiency in OSHA and EHS regulations.Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or three years of related experience and/or training.SWPP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention) experience.HAZWOPER experience is beneficial.

Work Environment

The role involves working in both an office setting and a warehouse environment. Office noise levels are average, including conversation and office equipment noise. In the warehouse, you may encounter high places, outdoor weather conditions, dust, extreme temperatures, and loud noise levels. The work shift is typically 6:30am to 3pm, with availability for emergency calls/safety incidents on nights and weekends.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $111000.00/yr.
