Environmental Construction Coordinator
Job Description Day to Day: The Environmental Construction Coordinator serves as the liaison between the environmental permitting group and construction teams. They gather information from the field, ensure regulatory requirements are met, and coordinate with the permitting team to develop deliverables for federal and state agencies. Key Responsibilities: Environmental & Regulatory Coordination: Work with the permitting team to develop deliverables for agencies including DEQ, DEP, State Historic Preservation, and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Collect, analyze, and organize field data required for state and federal permits Ensure compliance with FERC and other regulatory frameworks Cross‑Functional Communication: Serve as the point of contact between construction field teams and environmental permitting team Communicate updates, requirements, and documentation needs to stakeholders Data Management & Documentation: Perform data entry and environmental documentation updates Upload finalized data into Salesforce Utilize Excel, Outlook, and Box daily Team Collaboration: Work with a permitting and compliance team of 8, alongside manager Megan Neylon (construction team) Participate in project coordination meetings Support ongoing environmental compliance tasks for active construction projects Training & Ramp‑Up: 1‑day onboarding On‑the‑job training with environmental coordinators and construction partners We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Must Haves: 1+ years experience with strong environmental permitting experience (understanding of agency requirements such as DEP, DEQ, DNR, USFWS, ESA, Wildlife, etc.) 2–3 years of experience in oil & gas industry Bachelor’s degree Experience coordinating between permitting agencies and construction field teams Experience with: Excel (data entry) Salesforce or similar CRM systems (data upload) Outlook Box Ability to manage regulatory data flow and compliance tasks Comfort working fully remote and able to prioritize workload importance/ self-starter Plusses: Additional FERC experience Salesforce experience
