Location: Phoenix, AZ (preferred) or Dallas, TX
Compensation: Starting at $150K+ (flexible for the right individual)
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

We are working with a national leader in power systems and electrical services to identify an experienced and proactive EHS Manager to lead safety operations across high-risk, high-accountability environments. What You’ll Own

Leadership & Compliance

Oversee the design, rollout, and enforcement of company-wide EHS programs

Conduct jobsite audits and facility inspections, managing corrective actions and root cause investigations

Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations

Spearhead safety planning around Lockout/Tagout, fall protection, electrical safety, confined space entry, and more

Training & Culture-Building

Deliver onboarding and refresher trainings across field and leadership teams

Lead safety coaching for managers to foster top-down accountability

Track key safety metrics, certifications, and KPIs using data platforms like Power BI

Risk Management & Incident Response

Manage incident investigations, workers' comp claims, and vehicle-related events

Build trend analyses and dashboards to proactively reduce risk

Support field planning through job hazard analyses (JHAs), permitting, and contractor onboarding

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Serve as the go-to liaison with regulatory agencies and third-party auditors

Partner with operations leaders to drive safety program execution at all levels

Oversee accurate SDS logs, PPE compliance, and field safety readiness

What You Bring to the Table

Required:

6–8 years of EHS experience in construction, electrical, industrial, or utility environments

Solid working knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA 70E, and construction site safety practices

Experience in incident reporting, claims processes, and audit management

OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and First Aid/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain quickly)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with analytics tools like Power BI

Preferred:

Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent field experience

Safety certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or SMS

Background in the electrical trades or direct experience in utility/high-voltage safety operations
