2nd Shift Entry Level Welder
Job Description
Join a dynamic and skilled team responsible for operating welding equipment to produce high-quality steel and aluminum parts for consumer and industrial storage units. As a Welder, you will play a critical role in setting up and adjusting welding machines, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring products move efficiently through the production line.
Responsibilities
Operate welding machines to produce steel and aluminum parts.Set up welders, make adjustments, and replace welding wire and tips as necessary.Obtain designated parts and place completed products on conveyor lines or designated areas.Perform visual and measurement inspections to ensure quality standards using blueprints as a guide.Report any mechanical issues with welding equipment to the supervisor or maintenance team.Record production output on daily reports, including part/model numbers and quantities.Operate grinder to remove excess burrs and welding wire as necessary.Monitor parts usage and notify the supervisor of material requirements and shortages.Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.Ability to read and interpret blueprints for product specifications.Experience in a production welding format with steel gauges of 16 - 12.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Welding certificate is required.Experience with flux core and fabrication is beneficial.Why Work Here?
