**Entry Level Truck Technician** **Job Description** Perform basic maintenance tasks on diesel trucks, excluding engine work. This role is ideal for recent graduates from trade schools or diesel technology programs with a strong foundation in automotive repair. This position offers hands-on experience in a highly sought-after trade with excellent future career prospects. **Responsibilities** + Perform basic maintenance on diesel engines, including tire changes, oil changes, fluid checks, and filter changes. + Inspect for wear and tear and identify potential issues. + Assist experienced technicians with more complex repairs, such as electrical diagnostics. + Ensure a strong level of safety in all tasks. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude + Experience with repair and service + Proficiency with hand tools + Knowledge of automotive repair + Familiarity with diesel and cargo mechanics **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Recent graduation from trade school or at least 2 years of hands-on experience + CDL is a plus + ASE certification is a plus + Must have own tools **Why Work Here?** The company fosters a close, family-like culture where feedback and teamwork are highly valued.
