Job Description
This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth in a supportive, hands-on environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to develop technical and mechanical skills while contributing to rental operations, equipment video processes, and safety initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and process incoming rental equipment returns, following proper procedures.Inspect returned machines for operational functionality and condition.Document and report damage or non-functional components.Reference equipment manuals to identify replacement parts and place orders as needed.Perform accurate data entry and maintain comprehensive rental return records.Assist in scheduling, setting up, and conducting equipment video demonstrations.Handle occasional customer service calls (unrelated to rental returns).Contact technical support for assistance when necessary.Support the Safety Coordinator with inspections, training, and minor safety-related tasks.Work safely at all times and follow all safety rules and regulations.Essential SkillsExperience with hand tools and power tools.Ability to troubleshoot machines.Problem-solving skills.Computer skills for data entry.Mechanical repair skills.Understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems.Blueprint reading and machine assembly knowledge.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school graduate or trade school is preferred.Interest in machine building or mechanics.Ability to work from verbal instructions and blueprints.Experience in a job shop environment with a variety of parts.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
