We are immediately hiring for a couple of Entry-Level Specimen Processor roles here in Columbus. These are career opportunities that will have room for growth long-term!
The shifts will most likely be 3rd shift (overnight), but we are still confirming specifics. Hours will most likely be either 11:30pm - 8am or 4am - 12:30pm with 1-2 hours of daily overtime and rotating weekends.
Description
These roles are helping to process incoming medical specimens/samples that need to be tested. You will mostly be on your feet and moving around in these positions as you input their information into the system and sort and organize them to get setup for testing.
Primary duties will include scanning samples into the system, performing data entry, processing and sorting samples, and packaging them up in the laboratoryPrepare laboratory specimens for analysisResearch, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problemsSend test requests to proper location and release test resultsAssist clients with any specimen related requests or inquiresProcess specimens to be sent out to additional facilitiesProvide support to various areas of the laboratoryPerform sample sorting, racking and retrievingPrepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner Maintain a clean and safe work environmentQualifications:
MUST have at least a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalentMUST have reliable transportation. Attendance is extremely important because we are responsible for making sure patients are getting their medical results.Must have reliable and consistent work history, but can come from a variety of industries.Must have basic computer skillsJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Dublin, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.41 - $20.41/hr.
