Entry Level Reconciliation Specialist
Job Title: Reconciliation Specialist (entry-level)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in reconciling POS transactions with bank and credit card transactions, utilizing tools such as Excel, SAP, and Blackline. This role requires manual reconciliation tasks in Excel due to ongoing software upgrades.

Responsibilities

Reconcile POS transactions to bank and credit card transactions using Excel, SAP, or Blackline.Copy information from POS files and create pivot tables to track store transactions while ensuring the file remains balanced.Perform manual reconciliations in Excel due to ongoing software implementation upgrades.Match invoices to payments to ensure accounts are balanced.Process data by copying from account files and POS files, creating pivot tables with all necessary information, and matching transaction numbers and amounts.

Essential Skills

Basic accounting knowledge, including an understanding of debits and credits.Proficiency in Excel, particularly with pivot tables and formulas.Experience in a retail environment at the office or store level to understand the reconciliation process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with SAP.Prior experience in reconciliation.

Work Environment

The position follows a hybrid work schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a one-hour lunch break. You will work four days in the office and one day from home, either on Wednesday or Thursday. You will report to the Sales Audit & Reconciliations Manager and work alongside a Reconciliations Associate and another contractor. Our team comprises experts who provide valuable feedback and insights within the complex retail industry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
