Direct Hire position$18.00 to $21.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 03:30pm)Test and conduct routine and non-routine in-process inspection of production output, measure samples of finished product and check production quality verifications for completeness, timeliness and tolerances as well as complete product testing of finished goodsAssist with incoming inspections for internal / external suppliers as directed. Member of daily audit team for various product and process audits per checklistParticipant in the revision and update of standard operating procedures.Conduct and complete Internal Quality audits and may be involved in the development of testing methods Ensure employees adhere to safety and quality standardsEntry- Level QA Technician/ Inspector Qualifications:
1-3 years manufacturing experience: required (metal, paint/finishing industries: a plus)High School Diploma or GED: requiredISO 9000 and 5S Program knowledge and experienceCustomer focused mindsetProven hands-on shop floor experience; forklift experience Working knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Good work record; Strong work ethic Strong communication and interpersonal skillsGood teamwork and time management skillsExperience in a high volume fast paced environmentApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
