Job Title: Racker

Job Description

We are seeking two Rackers for the first shift (6am-2:30pm) in the anodizing department of a large metal finishing facility located in Newport Beach, CA. This role offers competitive pay based on experience, with opportunities for overtime both daily and on weekends.

ResponsibilitiesProvide support to the anodize department and assist with racking and un-racking of parts.Prepare parts for processing and perform visual inspections to ensure quality.Inform management of any quality issues identified during the inspection.Maintain a clean and organized department on a daily basis.Process parts according to customer requirements, procedures, work instructions, and job traveler documents to ensure part conformity.Perform receiving inspections, including counting and visual inspection, and ensure completion of previous operations.Follow all safety policies and procedures.Essential SkillsExperience in inspection, production, general labor, racking, packing, material handling, and part preparation.Ability to conduct visual inspections effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic blueprint reading skills, with a willingness to learn.Good communication skills and the ability to read and write in English.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, mechanical gages, x-ray, and thickness gages.Basic computer skills and mathematics skills.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.00/hr.
