Job Title: Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
Join our dynamic team in the cable assembly and harnessing product areas, where you will have the opportunity to create detailed manufacturing work instructions for mechanical assemblies. You will be instrumental in developing process improvements and best practices for the utilization of mechanical assemblies, while collaborating with our design engineering team to provide input on manufacturing processes and potential cost reduction. You will work directly on the production floor with operators, creating CAD drawings in Solidworks for tooling and various products.
Responsibilities
Create detailed manufacturing work instructions for mechanical assemblies.Develop process improvements and best practices for mechanical assembly utilization.Collaborate with the design engineering team to provide input on manufacturing processes and cost reduction.Work on the production floor with operators to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.Create CAD drawings in Solidworks for tooling and various products.Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in the aerospace sector.Proficiency in creating work instructions and designing in Solidworks.Ability to collaborate with engineering teams for process input and cost reduction.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Over 2 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
