Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on various equipment, ensuring proper documentation of work, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and maintenance practices in an industrial setting.

ResponsibilitiesComplete preventive maintenance (PMs) and maintain organization in maintenance practices.Perform operational maintenance (OM) on assigned equipment.Enter all work performed into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (MP@2).Perform electrical repairs on 480v, 220v, 110v AC/DC systems.Troubleshoot and repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).Troubleshoot, repair, and replace bearings, cylinders, and other mechanical parts.Perform MIG welding.Assist Blade Technician with setup and repairs.Assist the operations department with equipment and production issues.Conduct mechanical troubleshooting.Utilize power tools and hand tools to fix any issues.Maintain and repair packaging machines.Essential SkillsMechanical troubleshootingMaintenance repairConveyor systemsElectrical maintenancePneumaticsHydraulicsRepair and troubleshootingReading and interpreting schematicsPreventive maintenanceSanitation proceduresExperience in the food industryService and blueprint readingElectrical troubleshootingAdditional Skills & QualificationsAt least 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience performing mechanical and electrical repairs is a plus.Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and perform repairs.MIG welding experience.Military experience in mechanical or electrical fields is beneficial.Proficiency in computer skills, including using Word, Excel, and maintenance software to create work orders, repair parts lists, equipment repairs, and PMs.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
