**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to operate automated production equipment during a 12-hour shift. The role involves inspecting product quality throughout the shift, working in a cleanroom environment while adhering to personal protective equipment protocols, and handling various mechanical parts. Additional duties include labeling and packaging products with accuracy, consistent data recording, and cross-training across departments and machine components. **Responsibilities** + Operate automated production equipment efficiently during a 12-hour shift. + Inspect the quality of products consistently throughout the shift. + Adhere to personal protective equipment protocols in a cleanroom environment. + Move and work around machines, being exposed to various mechanical parts. + Assist with labeling and packaging products, ensuring all labels are accurate. + Record data consistently during the shift. + Participate in cross-training within departments and on various parts of the machines. **Essential Skills** + At least 6 months of warehouse or manufacturing experience. + Basic computer experience. + Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift. + Capability to communicate effectively and complete comprehension tests. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General production, assembly, and packaging experience. + Familiarity with machine operation and inspection. **Why Work Here?** Join an innovative environment supporting a large medical device product with opportunities for growth and internal benefits once permanent. Follow Good Manufacturing Practice procedures and gown up to access various rooms. Wear steel toe shoes in the warehouse. Experience a fast-paced production environment with a 12-hour rotating shift schedule from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am. Utilize computer skills as required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.80/hr.
