Entry-Level Logistics Specialist
Job Title: Logistics Specialist (FL)

Job Description

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for executing customer vehicle relocation services orders and supporting business operations. This role includes managing customer order execution, coordinating with various contacts through email and telephone, and maintaining accurate data within the CRM system.

ResponsibilitiesManage execution of customer orders by coordinating and scheduling the timely pickup and delivery of customer vehicles, ensuring customer instructions are followed precisely.Ensure orders are efficiently executed, including linking multiple orders and overseeing additional services such as vehicle detailing, titling/registration, and placement into storage.Communicate effectively with staff, independent contractors, and pickup and delivery contacts through email, telephone, and CRM, escalating issues to management as needed.Update CRM activities and notes promptly, maintaining accurate data after each communication, including uploading photos and scanned documents.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable DOT regulations and Federal, State, and Local laws.Calculate and offer flat fees on orders by emailing bid sheets to independent contractors in the manager's absence or as directed by management.Manage the storage facility, overseeing the daily operations and tracking vehicles using VIN and order verifications.Check vehicles in and out, review for damage and issues, take inventory of items left in vehicles, and move vehicles within the lot.Maintain an accurate inventory of vehicles in the lot, ensuring they start and communicating issues to headquarters for resolution before reactivation.Essential SkillsHigh School DiplomaAbility to learn and utilize company systems and equipment effectively.Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to provide up-to-date information to keep customers informed.Time management skills, with the ability to follow through to completion.Confident, assertive, and decisive in responding and taking responsibility for position requirements.At least 6 months of customer service experience; inventory experience is a plus.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong Microsoft Office Excel, data entry, and CRM experience.Typing skills with a minimum of 37 WPM.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience in logistics, scheduling, and coordinating.Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.Ability to manage several concurrent projects with high attention to detail and accuracy.Advanced computer skills.Work Environment

This position is on-site in Orlando, FL, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment similar to the Outside Operations role, with the expectation of being comfortable communicating with independent contractors (truck drivers) and serving as their main point of contact. The position offers the opportunity to be part of a growing, women-owned fleet transport company with potential for growth across various departments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
