Job Title: Level Field Technician (SUE/Survey)Job Description

ResponsibilitiesPerform heavy labor tasks including using tools, digging, setting up sites, operating vacuum trucks, and site clean-up.Conduct minor maintenance and troubleshoot operating problems on vacuum systems and vehicles.Clean and maintain vehicles, work sites, and equipment to ensure operational readiness.Select and apply appropriate geophysical prospecting equipment to accurately designate non-complex underground utility layouts.Comprehend and interpret utility and highway design plans, atlases, and record drawings.Complete paperwork including record keeping and simple mathematics legibly and accurately.Perform related duties such as setting up maintenance of traffic as directed, making basic field measurements, and performing geophysical prospecting as instructed.Essential SkillsAbility to perform heavy labor and work in outdoor environments.Basic comprehension and interpretation of technical plans and drawings.Valid driver's license with the ability to pass an MVR check.Willingness to travel extensively and work overtime as needed.Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school education or GED.Previous utility locating or survey experience is a plus.Work Environment

This position involves working outdoors, often in extreme heat and weather conditions, as part of a small crew of 2-3 people. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
