Job Title: Entry Level Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to take direction from experienced electrical and mechanical engineers in IC replacements and building electromechanical components and systems. You will read electrical schematics, troubleshoot, and test accordingly, while working alongside a team of engineers. Occasionally, you will assist assemblers on the production floor with troubleshooting and support engineers in test engineering functions.

Responsibilities

Take direction from electrical and mechanical engineers for IC replacements and building electromechanical components and systems.Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and test accordingly.Collaborate with a team of engineers, both electrical and mechanical.Assist assemblers on the production floor with troubleshooting tasks.Support engineers in test engineering functions.

Essential Skills

Ability to read electrical schematics.Proficiency in operating electrical test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.Experience in reading components and IC data sheets.Familiarity with IPC soldering techniques.Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

IPC certification for soldering is preferred but not mandatory.1 year of electrical testing experience in relevant field.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
