Entry Level Electrical Engineer
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A 70% TRAVEL ROLE Job Title: Entry Level Electrical Engineer Job Description Electrical Field Service Engineers conduct a broad range of inspection, engineering, and supervisory tasks in support of in-house test, installation, start-up, and service/repair of the full range of industrial equipment. Responsibilities + Conduct inspections and perform engineering tasks related to industrial equipment. + Provide supervisory support for installation, start-up, and service/repair of equipment. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues with motor-controlled hydraulic and pneumatic industrial machines. + Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). + Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. + Assist companies with the installation of new systems. + Write and develop project plans, test plans, and equipment manuals. Essential Skills + Field Service Engineering experience with motor-controlled hydraulic and pneumatic industrial machines. + Ability to troubleshoot PLCs. + Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints. + Strong communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred. + Previous experience in the field dealing with mechanical (hydraulic, pneumatic systems) and electrical (PLC, motor controls, sensors) systems. + Extensive travel capability of up to 70% both domestically and internationally. Work Environment When not traveling, you will work onsite with the Field Service team in an office setting. Travel involves visiting various locations, including international destinations such as China, Japan, and India, where environments may be industrial and challenging. In the US, you will be sent to different customer locations, primarily foundries. All locations are safe, with trips lasting from a few days to up to six weeks. The role offers excellent training experience, benefits, and low attrition due to profit-sharing and bonus plans. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westampton, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $33.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
