**Job Title: Construction Technician (Entry Level)** We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Laborer/Material Handler to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced ironworking environment, with exposure to various workstations and production processes. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a background in construction or general labor **Key Responsibilities** + Assist with the handling and movement of steel and iron materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment. + Support ironworkers by preparing materials, staging tools, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. + Load and unload deliveries, verifying materials against shipping documents. + Operate saws and other cutting tools to prepare materials to specified lengths. + Rotate through various stations including fabrication, layout, and assembly to gain broad exposure to ironworking processes. + Follow safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety on the job site. **Essential Skills** + Experience in construction, general labor, or material handling. + Familiarity with basic hand and power tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints or shop drawings is a plus. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. + Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. **Preferred Qualifications** + OSHA 10 and Hot Works certifications (required prior to start; assistance available). + Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas of the shop and field operations. + Previous experience with steel or iron materials is a plus. **Why Join Us?** + Be part of a respected, family-owned company with over 40 years of industry experience. + Competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, and 8 paid holidays. + Permanent employees receive boots, tools, and per diem allowances. + Opportunities for growth and skill development in a supportive team environment. **Work Environment** + Based in Rowley, MA, with daily reporting to the shop. + Work is primarily indoors with occasional outdoor tasks depending on project needs. + All necessary tools and safety equipment are provided. **Job Type** + Full-Time **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
