Implement processes and organize efforts within study team to achieve objectives, coordinating research procedures, study visits, and follow-up care. Coordinate day-to-day clinical trial activities in adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), study protocols, and applicable regulations. 2. Implement processes and organize efforts within study team to achieve objectives, coordinating research procedures, study visits, and follow-up care. 3. Create and maintain tools and documentation to track study metrics, providing updates to management. 4. Conduct pre-study, site qualification, study initiation, monitoring visits, and close-out activities. 5. Maintain source documents and report adverse events. 6. Recruit, screen, enroll, and obtain consent from study participants. 7. Collect and maintain patient and laboratory data. 8. Work directly with study participants and families and serve as project liaison to other departments, outside organizations, and government agencies. 9. Work under the direction of the Primary Investigator (PI). 10. Requires basic skill set and proficiency conducting work assignments as directed by the Clinical Research Manager. 11. May maintain contact with IRB and prepare and submit IRB documents. 12. May ensure proper collection, processing, and shipment of specimens. Minimum requirements: a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master’s (or equivalency) degree. This is an Entry-Level position in the General Professional track. Job Code: PZ6511 Grade: P11 Expected Pay Range: $35,000 to $50,000 **Problem Solving:** Active problem-solving skills required. Handling routine issues that arise in supporting clinical studies. Examples include ensuring study documentation is complete and accurate, communicating with team members to clarify procedures, resolving scheduling conflicts, and identifying when an issue needs additional guidance or escalation to maintain compliance and study quality. Some responsibilities associated with this role may take place at a Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital.
