**Job Title: Entry Level Assembler**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team as an Assembler working Monday through Friday with mandatory overtime. The position offers flexible shift timings: First Shift (5AM-1PM or 4AM-1PM), Second Shift (1PM-9PM), and Third Shift (9PM-5AM). Be prepared to start as early as 3:30AM or 4:00AM. As an Assembler, you will be part of a team responsible for assembling and inspecting sunglasses from start to finish.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work in teams of 4-5 to assemble and inspect sunglasses.
+ Screw, glue, and fasten individual pieces of sunglasses together.
+ Prepare assembled pieces for lens installation and quality auditing.
+ Install lenses into frames and glue icons onto frames.
+ Use small tools to insert screws or pins to secure frames.
+ Operate and troubleshoot pad printing machines for imprinting part numbers and SKU numbers.
+ Sand and buff gate/burr from the center frame.
+ Send assembled products to Quality Auditor for final inspection before packaging.
+ Set up workstations at the start of the shift and adapt to building different models each day.
+ Ensure flexibility as specific job duties and departments within assembly may change.
+ Stand and walk throughout the shift; comfortable shoes or insoles recommended.
+ Rotate jobs on each shift to limit repetitive movements.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
+ Mechanical assembly skills.
+ Attention to detail for quality inspection.
+ Good attendance with a three-strikes mentality.
+ Ability to stand for 8-10+ hours per day.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ No experience required but helpful.
+ Ability to pass DT & BK tests.
+ Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Work Environment**
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a casual dress code, requiring closed-toe shoes and eyewear throughout the shift (eyewear is provided). The job involves standing throughout the shift and performing highly repetitive short-cycle assembly tasks. Safety is a priority, with protective eyewear and ear-plugs required in certain departments, and regularly scheduled stretches. An hour-long safety training is required before starting the position.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.97 - $19.97/hr.
