Job Title: Billing Analyst Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Billing Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and support of our billing systems, processes, and policies. This position involves reconciling orders, resolving billing issues, and ensuring accurate invoicing. Responsibilities + Provide input into the ongoing development and support of billing systems, processes, and policies. + Reconcile orders for gas to match bill of ladings (BoL) and match invoice set to store. + Reconcile amounts billed to stores compared to amounts paid by stores. + Resolve and track billing issues as they arise, working with the fuel and accounting support teams to fix root cause problems. + Process billing adjustments timely and accurately to fuel accounts, ensuring proper levels of authorization and documentation are in place. + Conduct invoicing review and variance analysis with required sign off. Essential Skills + Proficiency in bank reconciliation, credit card transactions, and expense allocations. + Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to work as a self-starter with minimum supervision. + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. + 1-2 years of relevant work experience. + Understanding of accounting procedures, concepts, and internal control processes in general accounting. Work Environment Join a dynamic billing team on the fuel side, currently composed of around 12 members. This role requires effective communication with field managers and involves multiple teams responsible for processing invoices.
