Enterprise Integration Developer (Apache Camel / Java)

**CTG is seeking to fill an Enterprise Integration Developer (Apache Camel / Java) position for our client.**
**Location:** Remote
**Duration:** 12 months
**Duties:**
+ Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Apache Camel and Java.
+ Build and manage message flows and integrations leveraging ESB and EAI patterns.
+ Develop and expose APIs and services using web service technologies, including SOAP, REST/HTTP, and secure communication via SSL/TLS.
+ Implement business rules and routing logic using Drools.
+ Perform data mapping and transformations between heterogeneous systems and data formats.
+ Integrate applications across cloud and on-premise environments, with a focus on Azure Cloud services.
+ Develop and support integrations using NoSQL and relational databases.
+ Participate across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, high-level and low-level design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
+ Conduct integration testing, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of integration solutions.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure integration architectures.
**Skills:**
+ Strong hands-on experience with Apache Camel development.
+ Proficiency in Java application development.
+ Experience with Azure Cloud services in an integration context.
+ Working knowledge of NoSQL databases and data integration patterns.
+ Experience using Drools for business rules management.
+ Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and ESB technologies.
+ Experience with web services (SOAP, REST/HTTP) and secure communication protocols (SSL/TLS).
+ Familiarity with ESB and integration platforms such as IBM IIB, Software AG, WebSphere DataPower, Tibco, or Mule is a plus.
+ Experience working with relational databases such as IBM DB2 or Oracle.
**Experience:**
+ Proven experience as an Application Developer specializing in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).
+ Hands-on experience designing and implementing message-based integrations and APIs.
+ Experience with integration testing, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production support.
+ Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $87,000 to $92,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
